ArcScan, Inc.

ArcScan, Inc. merged with Ultralink LLC August 2007 and plans to introduce a new version of Ultralink's Artemis technology. Ultralink had earlier developed and produced the proof-of-principle Artemis 1 ultrasonic scanning device, which is still in daily use and the London Vision Clinic. Subsequently, Ultralink developed, produced and sold over two dozen Artemis 2 devices, which proved that the development concept in the Artemis 1 was a commercially valuable instrument for ophthalmologists around the world.

Although the Artemis 2 scanner was a clinical success for ophthalmologists, it was not a commercial success for Ultralink due to the product's manufacturing and maintenance costs.

ArcScan, Inc. was formed in Colorado in cooperation with Ultralink LLC to relaunch the Artemis Digital Ultrasound Eye ArcScanner with a fresh design to deliver both clinical and commercial success.
